MedWord for Windows
MedWord for Windows is the first true windows based transcription system using WordPerfect for Windows as the word processing engine. MedWord for Windows is available as a software only application for use on an existing Novell network. WordPerfect for Windows was combined with Lanier software to provide all the productivity enhancing features designed specifically for medical transcription to increase productivity and reduce keystrokes.
MedWord for Windows supports faxing reports automatically upon completion and can interface with a hospital mainframe to download patient demographic information to further improve productivity. MedWord for Windows is a truly open system utilizing industry standards, so a facility can easily progress to a computerized patient record in the future.
